“Twilight Dementia” captures DragonForce doing what they do best: blasting through songs at impossible speeds while sounding like a battalion of laser-wielding wizards on a caffeine bender. Recorded across their UK tour, it’s a double-disc onslaught of everything that made the band’s classic era so iconic, blistering twin-guitar pyrotechnics, sky-high melodies, and enough energy to power a small nation.

The real emotional weight, though, comes from the fact that this was ZP Theart’s last stand with DragonForce. His performance is a victory lap of soaring vocals and rock-solid charisma, hitting every heroic chorus with the same fire he brought from day one. You can feel the chemistry of the classic lineup burning at full strength one last time.

The album doesn’t hide the chaos of a DragonForce show, it celebrates it. Solos spiral out of orbit, drums roar like stampeding mechs, and the crowd becomes part of the spectacle. It’s messy, sweaty, and gloriously over-the-top… exactly the way a DragonForce live record should be.

“Twilight Dementia” isn’t just a live album. It’s the end of an era, sealed in lightning, speed, and pure power-metal adrenaline. A final chorus for ZP, and one hell of a sendoff.
